Medfield swing/jazz concert/dance Sat. 10/25 - Dale St. School Auditorium
Break out your dancing shoes for an evening of music, dancing, and fun!
The New England Swing Orchestra and the award-winning Medfield High School Jazz Band will play up a storm Saturday, October 25. And there will be swing dance instruction from 7 – 7:30 pm before the bands start playing.
The concert/dance is sponsored by the Medfield Cultural Council, and profits will go to the Zullo Gallery.
The New England Swing Orchestra will play the big band greats, and they’ll take requests. Opening will be the Medfield High School Jazz Band, honored last spring as one of the top 15 in the U.S.A. when they played at Lincoln Center in New York City.
The concert/dance will be held at the Dale Street School Auditorium, with its outstanding concert hall acoustics – a perfect complement to swing and jazz! It’s at the corner of North and Dale Streets, Medfield, near the police/fire station.
Tickets will be available at the door and at The Center on Ice House Road, Medfield. They’re only $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors – a good deal on a great night’s entertainment – and all profits go to the Zullo Gallery!
